The Santa Rosa Island Authority has scheduled a public input workshop for 6 to 9 p.m. March 18 at the Pensacola Beach Community Church, 916 Panferio Drive.Does anyone else think it is odd to first commit to a 100% hike in the bridge toll and then look around for ways to spend the money?The meeting will be coordinated by Baskerville Donovan, the engineers contracted to design beach improvements. Suggested improvements include a Via De Luna walkover, parking garage and dredging of Sabine Bay, Escambia County officials said in a news release.
