Adapt or Perish

It's good news that the state's attorney office has filed new charges against Ray Sansom and his co-conspirators for grand theft of taxpayer's money. It may seem a little odd to think of a politician like some second-story artist or burglar.

But corrupt Florida politicians are like Islamic terrorists in at least one respect: both are always inventing new ways to do their bad deeds. Sansom and his cohorts certainly did. The law needs to adapt, just as Homeland Security should be doing.
