Joe Roberts, who's taking on incumbent 1st District Florida congressman Jeff Miller, has been getting some modest attention by parking his campaign car here and there as he makes his way around the district, goes shopping, drops off the dry cleaning, or just goes out for a spin. We saw the car, empty, not long ago in a grocery store parking lot in Gulf Breeze.
Such things only go so far, though. Especially when hurried shoppers aren't accustomed to reading the side panels of parked cars to find out who to vote for -- or why.
So, Bryan over at Why Now? is 'floating' a new idea. Anyone have a spare pickup and oil derick on hand?
