The job carnage at the Pensacola News Journal continues. After seven years as a superb and at times even courageous Executive Editor, Randy Hammer is transferring to the Louisville Courier-Journal where, it is said, he'll "be in charge of the newspaper's non-daily publications."Someone needs to check the boots of Gannett Corp.'s notorious newspaper assassin, Kevin Doyle, to see if there are any fibers matching the rump of Randy's pants.
