The local business necrology continues to grow. The Gulf Breeze News is reporting that Bruno's, the anchor grocery store in Gulf Breeze proper, is likely to close by May 31 "if new ownership does not acquire the store in the coming weeks."It's hard to imagine anyone taking over that rental space, particularly with the unfortunately- named Sea Shell Collections shopping center, anchored by Publix, practically next door. When Bruno's falls, what do you suppose will happen to all the other shops in the mini-mall that depend on its traffic?
