Tea Party Crasher

Ha! Looks like someone with sense tried to share a few facts with the Pensacola tea baggers. Being Fox News viewers, they weren't interested, of course.

The party crasher blogs as Sinfonian, and has a partial transcript of his own remarks.

Gee whiz teaparty buster. Sing it -Spread the wealth!

Glad you folks don't have to work and can go talk on the mic.

But better figure out a way to motivate the folks going to school and working hard to make 250,000.00 and over so they can spread their wealth to us dropouts that are entitled.

Wow, Anonymous, you really know how to stick your neck out there, don't you? Did you even listen to what I said there?

I was laid off in September. I get it -- the economy sucks. But it's not the fault of the Obama administration -- rather, it's the massive deficit spending of the Bush crime syndicate, especially on an illegal and unnecessary war, that has gotten us into this situation.

Moreover, absolutely the wealthiest Americans should be shouldering more of the burden of paying for civilization than they have in the Bush years. I mean, we're not talking about going back to 50 and 60 and 70 percent tax rates in the '50s -- the Obama plan just rolls the highest tax rate back to the Clinton years: 39%. It's called progressive (as opposed to regressive) taxation -- look it up.

Oh, and by the way, what about the 250 or so wingnuts and Libertarians who were there? I guess you'll pretentiously scold them for "not having to work," too?

Back to remedial listening skills for you. Remedial economics might be a good idea as well.

Incidentally, for anyone interested, there is a full transcript of my remarks at my Daily Kos diary of the event.

Check your remedial economics and get back with us to let us know when the social programs now called "entitlements" that have continued to balloon are going to start transforming the lifers on entitlements and now their offspring into contributing citizens.
