BP "Spillcam" Operational Today
Rep. Ed Markey, who demanded just a day ago that BP share with the public a live feed of the oil leak at the Deepwater Horizon wellhead source, as of 12:30 pm today is hosting that live feed on the web site of the House Subcommittee on Energy Independence and Global Warming. In the few minutes after the feed went up, it looks like it needs work or, more likely, the server is temporarily overwhelmed. This is progress, nevertheless.
