Everyone thought we'd been lucky. But we knew it couldn't last. Now, it has happened: Heavy, ugly sheets of oil and large tarballs washed up on Pensacola Beach today. Beaches along a 20-mile stretch of Santa Rosa Island have been closed to the public.
