Credit Where Credit Is Due

Steve Benen:
For all the complaining from the Tea Party crowd, there's an odd disconnect. These folks applauded a Republican president who increased the deficit and increased the size of government, but they literally take to the streets to denounce a Democratic president who has cut taxes, cut spending, and makes sure his proposals are paid for. Why throw a fit over the more fiscally responsible president?

Obama wins more spending cuts than Bush. Good for him!

Oooooo. We got a tea-bagger here too dumb to click a link or read. He thinks Truman is president. Has he been in a coma?

No picking on the teabaggers please, they can't help themselves. They still believe Bush was a great President, and that Sarah Palin is their next savior. Those nasty Democrats did control congress during his last TWO years, after all!

lol

TYPICAL LEFT COMMENTS. CAN'T ATTACK THE IDEA SO YOU ATTACK THE PERSON. I WAS SAYING THAT TRUMAN WAS THE LAST DECENT DEMOCRAT IN THE WHITE HOUSE

What was it about the Clinton years you didn't like, was it the peace or the prosperity?

it was the dishonesty.

I see. You much prefer the lies of Bush and Reagan, two of the most damaging presidencies in this country's history. Oh, how about Richard Nixon? The grand poopah of liars.

I will not defend a liar, but I will continue to defend the Democratic party. May they continue their dominance for the next 100 years, since that is about how long it will take to fix the mess left to them due to 30 years of Republican dominated governance.
