U.S. TV cable news, relying on edited feeds mostly from Indian and British television sources, offered nearly 24 x 7 coverage of a sort.Still, as it seems to us, the gravity of the incident and the horrific extent of the tragedy is most dramatically presented by 35 or more still pictures collected from numerous sources by the Boston Globe's "Big Picture" photo-news blog.
