The Gainsville Sun and blogger Mark Lane are providing useful summaries of reactions to the Florida Supreme Court's decision in Bush v. Holmes.
South Florida history professor Sherman Dorn says "it's very tough to explain with a straight face why local public schools have to have their kids tested, with scores revealed for the whole world, while private schools receiving vouchers don't."
Not really. The reason, as Clive Belfield has pointed out, is Ideology Trumps Evidence. Especially when one side, the voucher advocates, can't or won't agree to have their results measured.
