Fema: Then & 'Why Now?'

Earlier this month, we linked to a prescient Fema Obituary written by a highly respected disaster prepardedness expert, even as the water was still rising in New Orleans.

We soon followed up with more sage predictions from Bryan's blog, out of nearby Cinco Bayou, which he calls Why Now?

In the week since then, as George Bush was commandering 50 trained firefighters to be nothing more than political props for a photo-op, the evidence that Fema has descended into utter politicized incompetence became visible to all.

But if by chance you still harbor doubts, then you need to read Bryan's follow-up post. Essentially, he compares his own personal experiences with Fema in 1995 versus now.
